Chompsy — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Chompsy collects and how it is used. Chompsy connects food creators with food spots for content collaborations.

1. Information we collect

• Account details — email address, name, username, city, bio, and photos you add to your profile.
• Social media handles — the accounts you choose to link to your profile (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, X).
• Verification data — if you verify a social account by signing in with that platform (for example, TikTok Login Kit or Google), we receive basic profile information from that platform, such as your display name, account identifier, and public statistics like follower counts. We use this only to confirm you own the account and to show your verified status and audience size.
• Activity — deals you post or apply to, collaborations, and messages sent within the app.

2. How we use it

• Operating the app: showing your profile to food spots or creators, matching collaborations, delivering messages.
• Verifying social account ownership and displaying verified status.
• Keeping the platform safe: enforcing limits, preventing fake accounts and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party sign-in

When you verify an account through a platform's official login (such as TikTok or Google), that login happens on the platform's own pages. Chompsy never sees your password for those services. You can revoke Chompsy's access at any time in that platform's security settings, and you can remove linked accounts from your Chompsy profile at any time.

4. Data storage

Data is stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase). Messages and profile data are protected by access rules so only intended participants can read them.

5. Deleting your data

You can remove profile fields and linked accounts in the app. To delete your account and its data entirely, contact us at the address below and we will process the deletion.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as Chompsy evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision.
